Communication in International Companies
Understanding the cultures of different companies enables multinational and small companies to institute effectual communication in international business. The rationale of this project is to understand how culture literacy influences the way information is conveyed by different international firms. The factors which led to the study include diverse etiquettes in different countries and specific ethical values which govern firms. The purpose of the project is to establish the effectiveness of communication between two chosen multinational companies involved in business. The objectives include;
1. Engage the employees of the two companies in collecting data
2. Involve the management to learn the communication methods used.
The data for the project will be generated from the companies’ employees and management, companies’ websites, and printed sources. This data will reflect the culture business domain. Each company will have 150 participants who will be picked randomly from different departments. The features of data which will guide the collection of information will be 10 in total. These components are already in the dataset which is being worked on currently. The data collected is clean since it involves high level of organization. Additionally, it has been collected from primary and secondary sources which are credible thus ensuring its credibility.
The scope and plan of the project will involve high-level requirements such as commitment and deeper research by reaching out to old employees of the companies. Also, knowledge to determine the credibility of information collected from secondary sources. The results of the study will be formulated with alignment to the main aim. They will be prerequisite to completion of all the steps of data collection and analysis. The resources required include transport, access to the internet, interpersonal skills to get enough information from the participants. The process will take a period of 4 months to exhaust all sources of information and ensure quality outcomes.
