Responsibilities
• Analysis of complex operational and tactical situational awareness processes and cyber systems for support of mission activities
Action to be taken in achieving the responsibility is for instance, understanding of the architecture of the communication systems. It is important to demonstrate knowledge in the analysis of the current and projected threats that will help in support of mission activities and provide solutions to the issues that are related to cybersecurity (Melville, 2010). Additionally, one should, and have a good understanding of the concepts and theories that revolve around the security of the system for solving complex issues affecting the organization.
• Development of assessment materials, plans, scenarios and exercises to determine the operational requirements and gaps.
The action that should be undertaken in this regard is the proper understanding of the techniques of collecting and measuring data preparing the pans for determining the issues that threaten the security of the system. Also, the application of knowledge and conduct the necessary researches to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing methods. In this process, complex issues which are solved are aimed at achieving the goals and objectives of the business.
• Assesses policy needs and develops policy and procedures governing enterprise IT services
The ability to demonstrate knowledge in a deep understanding of the policies and procedures that guide the organization in implementing its IT infrastructure is crucial for protecting the company against legal issues. It is also important to understand the current trends and other issues in information technology for the protection of the organization (Lumley et al., 2011).
• Provides expert technical guidance and advice that requires a high level of skills in analysis
Communicating effectively, especially through oral and written channels forms an important aspect of reporting procedure. Understanding the current situation of the organization, which is important in predicting future growth and how the management can meet the future requirements, forms a crucial part for the future growth of the organization. Analysis of the current trends and provides findings and reports for decision making (Baker, 2012).
