PART I
Utilize the Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) framework to organize your implementation plan. Start this section with a brief introductory paragraph or two to state your implementation strategy, and provide a POAM spreadsheet including all goals, objectives, and POAM. You will have to make a few educated guesses when determining funds needed for an objective.

PART II
Write an Executive Summary which will precede your Strategic Plan.
The Executive Summary summarizes each of the major sections of your plan. This is important since it will help other key constituents, such as employees, advisors, and investors, quickly understand and support your plan. The Executive Summary should be around 1-2 pages. Do not use an executive summary template from the internet. Those templates are created for business plans, and won’t necessarily translate to our project. Instead, summarize briefly each section of your strategic plan, highlighting the parts most important or interesting to the business; then create transitions for a readable executive summary.
Please note: The implementation plan should be added onto the last section of your strategic plan (Strategic Priorities). The executive summary should be added to the top of the document, just before the company profile. We are building a strategic plan with each milestone, and continuing to build on the same document with each step will help teams ensure they are staying on track.
