The goal of this assessment is to evaluate students’ writing skills and demonstrated understanding related to material on theories of Human Development (readings supplied in Moodle site) with specific focus on the lived cultural experience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) people need to live in a community that supports the expression of their cultural identity.
Discuss the above statement and support your points with use of the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and Social Learning Theory from the unit readings.
Integration of material from the text-books and readings on moodle is essential.
Chapter 2 of Sigelman and Rider (2019) Life-Span Human Development (the unit text book) and other supplied readings will need to be read and referenced to complete this assessment; these resource is available via the library site on moodle.
Your written essay should include at least 5 current (less than 10 years old) scholarly journal articles, as well as textbook references. Adherence to the course formatting guidelines is essential; these are listed in the Assessment section on your unit site. APA 7 referencing is required.
