Answer both questions Topic #1 What is your opinion of OSHA’s Fall Protection Standard, and should residential contractors be exempt from this? Topic #2 Often owners are appalled when as a contractor you detail what safety and health requirements cost, and at times want to cut the costs involved. You want the job badly, and contemplate taking a chance by cutting corners, i.e. You’re desperate for the job and are considering taking a chance by cutting corners, such as by not providing first aid training programs (and so giving employees who are equally desperate for the job assurances that they have received such training), and by lowering other related costs in general. Would you be comfortable with taking ethical considerations out of the decision-making process? by not offering first aid training programs (taking employees who want to work as badly assurances that they have had such training), and in general cutting other related costs. Taking ethical considerations out of the decision process, would you do so?
