Project title: Project Charter For Electric Vehicles (EVS)
Purpose
The primary purpose of the electric vehicle (EV) development project is to support engineering and the design and implementation of electric cars with charging technologies. The project explains the importance of using EVs over internal combustion vehicles based on the increasing effects of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere.
Description
The project offers solutions for Direct Current fast chargers. It evaluates the solution of power electric components packaging, designs and evaluates the electric vehicle charging stations. Generally, this project would offer critical information on electric vehicles compared to internal combustion vehicles. For example, EVs have lower greenhouse effects on the atmosphere, while internal combustion vehicles have adverse effects because they release large amounts of greenhouse gases, which leads to air pollution.
Objectives
The project’s main objective is to help businesses act faster to introduce electric vehicles in the United States’ supply chain. Other critical objectives of this project include:
• To facilitate the development and optimize the integrated V2G solution.
• To test the novel integrated solutions in simulated conditions,
Success criteria or expected benefits
The latest technology of the vehicle’s batteries installed in the EVs is expected to be traditional IC engine technology for automobiles. The project will provide critical information to potential users with various brands such as specific capacity electric motors, batteries, and controller designs, among other critical aspects of EVs.
Funding
The average cost for developing an electric vehicle is $ 1,961,000. However, we have inflated the budget by an additional $108,700 for any unforeseen occurrences that may arise during construction.
Major Deliverables
Electrical vehicles may have many components, different from the components in gasoline-powered vehicles. For this project, the major deliverables for EVs would include, a battery, charge port, DC/DC converter, thermal system, power electronics charger
Acceptance criteria
Several project managers will oversee the project progress to ensure the best outcomes. The acceptance criteria of this project will depend on the efficient outcomes, time of completion, and the project budget. Generally, project success will be evaluated on how well the project meets each of the plan requirements at the end of the project.

Key assumption: The primary assumption is that electric vehicles will have Zero emission public transit, which could be a catalyst for the decarbonization of the transport and power industry.
Constraints: Electric vehicles are limited to the distance, about 100 miles, which they can cover before battery failure. Also, air conditioning and radios drain the batteries of EVs; thus, they cannot cruise or accelerate as gasoline-powered vehicles.
Major risks: Electric vehicles require electric technology to operate. However, the significant risk associated with these cars is that electric technology may slowly make the conventional technologies valueless.
Approval requirements
• Project manager: The project manager is authorized to manage all the aspects of the project, including the installations, planning for commercial work, and evaluating the project progress.
• Reporting requirements: The scope of project reporting should use comparative studies for several motors that have used electric vehicles. Project reporting should also be accompanied by presentations touching on the roles of transport and communication authorities in promoting the development of electric vehicles.
