Discuss what qualities and behaviors you possess that make you a person with good clinical judgment when you imagine yourself as a nurse and providing care. What are three strategies you can use to improve your clinical judgment? What aspects of the nursing process do you believe will be more difficult for you now that you have developed critical thinking and clinical judgment skills?
I believe that I possess several qualities and behaviors that make me a person with good clinical judgment, including the ability to think critically and systematically, to pay attention to detail, and to consider multiple perspectives. I am also able to remain calm and focused under pressure, and I am able to communicate effectively and work well in teams.
To improve my clinical judgment, I can use several strategies, such as seeking out new experiences and learning opportunities, seeking feedback from colleagues and mentors, and engaging in reflective practice. I can also focus on developing my critical thinking skills by reading widely, engaging in discussions and debates, and examining my own biases and assumptions.
I believe that some aspects of the nursing process, such as identifying and prioritizing nursing diagnoses and developing care plans, may be more difficult for me now that I have developed critical thinking and clinical judgment skills. This is because these tasks require a high level of critical thinking and decision-making skills, and require
