Local Issue: The local issue I have chosen to focus on is the financial sustainability of minor league baseball teams. Many minor league teams struggle to generate enough revenue to cover expenses, leading to teams ceasing operations or being sold to new ownership. This can have a negative impact on the communities where the teams are based, as they lose a source of entertainment and economic activity.
