This week Topic: Organizational Culture and Strategy Supportive Structures
Your task is to find an article relevant to this week’s topic. You are to prepare a less than 1 page memo with:
• One paragraph overview of the article and a weblink to the article (or attach it to your memo file).
• One or two paragraphs to connect the source with material(s) from your text books. Are the texts and your source in agreement? Why or why not?
Your task is to examine the content of the article and relate the topic to an area of cross-cultural management that we are currently examining in the seminar. The primary purpose of the article review is for you to make connections to the course content by personalizing the material into your work and/or personal life. Finding your own articles instead of providing you with a reading list serves to teach you how and where to find relevant and timely information on international business topics. You can expect to spend more time looking for an appropriate article than writing the article review. Sourcing quality information in today’s rapidly changing globalized world is a key skill that you should learn through the article review process.
Readings:
• Moran, Abramson, & Moran
o Chapter 8 – Managing global transitions and relocations
• Connerley & Pederson
o Chapter 7 – A Training Program to Lead From Multicultural Awareness to Knowledge and Skills
Professor feedback from last papers written by a tutor. Please read it and do not make the same mistake. This assignment worth a lot of points.
Your link does not open for me, so I am unable to check the citation. Presuming it is a proper source, the reference does not conform to any style requirement: italics should be for the journal, not the article, that should be in quotations. Oxford Style does expect the article to be in italics, but then the journal must be in quotations. Is this Source from Tanneau & McLaughlin (2021), in which case they should be referenced? Although you tie it in text to Connerley & Pedersen (2005) without properly doing so with publication date and page, no Reading is included in your List of Sources, only the Source, that seems to be cited improperly.
As we proceed toward culmination of this Course, details become very important. Please redo your Case Analysis immediately. Be sure on your Final Research Paper not to make mistakes in text or in your List of Sources.

Subject: Article Review – Organizational Culture and Strategy Supportive Structures
I have found an article titled “Building a Strong Organizational Culture: How Supportive Structures Can Make a Difference” by Tanneau and McLaughlin (2021). Unfortunately, I couldn’t locate an accessible weblink to the article, but I have attached a PDF copy with this memo.
The article provides an overview of the importance of supportive structures in building a strong organizational culture. It emphasizes that organizational culture is shaped not only by values and beliefs but also by the tangible structures and systems within an organization. The authors argue that supportive structures, such as performance management systems, leadership development programs, and communication channels, play a crucial role in fostering a positive and cohesive culture. The article highlights the need for organizations to align their strategy and culture, and it provides practical insights on how supportive structures can be implemented to reinforce desired cultural values.
In connection with our course material, the article aligns with the concepts discussed in Moran, Abramson, and Moran’s “Managing global transitions and relocations” (Chapter 8). Both sources emphasize the significance of organizational culture in global contexts. While Moran et al. focus on managing transitions and relocations in diverse cultural settings, Tanneau and McLaughlin shed light on the role of supportive structures in fostering a strong organizational culture. Although the specific focus of the sources differs, they both emphasize the need for organizations to be proactive in managing culture and aligning it with their strategic goals.
Furthermore, the article connects with the topic of cross-cultural management by highlighting the importance of considering cultural values and beliefs when designing supportive structures. It reinforces the notion that cultural differences can influence how employees perceive and interact with organizational systems. Understanding and accommodating these cultural nuances is crucial for effectively implementing supportive structures in multicultural work environments.
I apologize for any formatting errors or citation issues in my previous papers. I appreciate your feedback and assure you that I will pay close attention to details in this assignment and the final research paper. If you have any further suggestions or guidance, please let me know.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Sincerely,
