Learning Outcomes:
This assessment task aligns with the following learning outcomes:
Demonstrate understanding of the hybridized way in which Agile and traditional project management approaches are employed.
Integrate knowledge to evaluate risks and opportunities that should be considered when determining the best approach and blending approaches.
Assessment Details:
Your company aims to improve its project delivery and believes that adopting the appropriate project delivery approach based on the context can help. You are required to develop a one-page assessment tool to assess the suitability of each project for a purely agile, hybrid, or more traditional approach.
The assessment tool should be accompanied by a report that provides a theoretical justification or rationale for each of the selected criteria, clearly identifying and considering the industry/sector and environment in which your company operates. Your report should explain what you considered in creating the tool, why it is suitable for current and future projects, and how it aligns with the industry and/or sector.
Consider leveraging the articles from Assessment 2 to support your justifications. Use SCU Harvard formatting for citations and references.
The word limit serves as a rough indicator and not a rigid requirement. It is provided to guide the length of explanation.
