• Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act is one of the popular healthcare policies. The purpose of the policy is to motivate healthcare workers by rewarding them for the exceptional care they offer. It focuses on the quality of care to encourage nurses to continually improve the quality of care (Hussey et al., 2017). The act, which dates back in 2015, was meant to encourage practitioners to deliver exceptional care, reduce medical errors, admission, and enhance the rate of recovery.
• The policy has an impact on system implementation since care providers will need to record aspects of patient satisfaction compared to the number of patients they have treated. It is important to note that the policy will affect how healthcare organizations collect data about patients who receive treatments daily (Hussey et al., 2017). For example, medical errors, high readmission rates, adverse treatment, and missed treatment will play a crucial role in determining the quality of care.
