TOPIC: Road to Integration in Asia: Differences between Asia and Europe in terms of integration and cooperation.
DESCRIPTION: I would like to focus dissertation on regionalism in Asia. As Asia is an area of global importance where issues relating to this region in terms of production, trade and international relations are of global importance. Issues of security, immigration, foreign policy and trade policy must be analysed while considering the Asian values and in regard to the changing international order with the rise of China.
To do so, using European Union as a comparison tool, I would like to contrast on the above mentioned issues faced by Asia and how regionalism can work out in this region.
You will find three sets of things to look out for as i found in my literature review which i have attached:
1) poor citing
2) no citing of arguments
3) incorrect description of EU institutions
However, my main concern is that at the moment literature review is purely descriptive. it does not discuss in depth how different arguments are related (opposed, similar, developments of previous arguments etc), also need more citing from many authors.
The literature review should be the place where you place your own argument in the context of broader academic arguments, but there is none of that in what you have written.
