Module 2 activity & discussion

Need initial post and two replies. I attached the map. Due in 8 hours

  1. View “John Snow’s Original Map of the 1854 Cholera Outbreak” courtesy of the UCLA Department of Epidemiology. Alternatively, you can download “High Resolution Maps of John Snow” in PDF format. Just be aware that download times will be dependent on your Internet connection. Notice the locations of the water pumps and the number of cholera deaths to residents of the neighborhood (indicated by the stacked black bars).
  2. Play with “John Snow’s Cholera Map of London Recreated” courtesy of The Guardian. This map was recreated using modern Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping technology and is interactive. You can zoom in and out, pan around, and click on the pink dots to obtain details on the number of cholera deaths.
  3. Online assignment help tutors - Discuss these maps with your assigned group. Consider the similarities and differences in the methods used to create the original and more modern maps. You must provide at least one substantive group discussion post by Thursday at 11:59PM ET.
  4. Then, suggest and discuss additional information John Snow may have needed to collect from the residents of the neighborhood in order to prove the Broad Street Pump was the source of the outbreak. Consider the total body of evidence that he may have needed to present to legislators in order to encourage public health action. You must provide at least one additional group discussion post by Sunday at 11:59PM ET.
