Solubility Enhancement Techniques for Poorly Water-Soluble parenteral Drugs
This group assignment allows the students to focus on specific types of pharmaceutical
formulation. This part of the course is important, as it will reinforce the student’s knowledge
based on pharmaceutical products specifically parenteral.
Guidelines:
In this assignment, each student group must include:
√ A well-structured introduction identifying the main reasons to improve drug solubility.
√ A minimum of four different solubilization techniques should be presented along with proper
explanation.
√ List the main advantages and disadvantages of each technique.
√ Mention two drug examples for each technique along with its structure and pharmacological
action.
