There are several reasons as to why agile techniques, the PMO team and Kanban were integrated. There need to focus on operational maintenance as opposed to developing a new system. The Consumer finance company needed a good team to increase the operations but not the new complex system. This forced the company to integrate the three components to increase the operations. The new integration added more force and improved service delivery. The old system had many drawbacks which were not limited to the more work overload, and a long period of accomplishing the schedules set. There was a turnover of staff and the technologies that brought more challenges. Therefore there was the need to integrate the three components to solve the challenges that the company faced. The integration took place to re-initiate the system that was collapsing. The business was not performing well and more activities stagnated.
The integration of the agile techniques, PMO team and Kanban resulted in improvement of many functions in the business. The PM solutions introduced a new management in the business. They incorporated the stakeholders and improved the governance. Through the introduction of the PM solutions, many tasks were accomplished within a very short time. The integration strengthened the workflows and tools and hence led to the success of the work delivery. The improvement of the system is very important in inducing new methods in the management of the business. The Kanban led to tracking deliveries were conducted and direct the stakeholders on what is to be done and the progress of activities. New developments were realised and workload reduced by larger percentages by the introduction of the work in progress tool. There was an increase in the transparency in the system and reduction in the impacts of politics. The activities were prioritized in the information system departments. The process led to the development of a new management that comprised of the stakeholder governance, analysis of the business and quality Helpance. The new system was developed and delivered in the four states in the new initiative of expanding the business. There is a more focus on the improvement of the business to a larger number of states to strengthen the growth of the business. There was an improvement on the time on which the tasks were accomplished from 20 hours to 5 hours. Generally, there was an improvement in quality assurance and planning of the activities. There was an improvement in the quality of the work that was done considering the reduction in the rejection rates from 30% to 5% for a period of six months. The system made the workflow to be monitored and measure weekly and monthly. The new system led to a decrease in the amount of work rejected as opposed to traditional method which had many rejections.

The need for change in the management of the system: The business relied on the traditional methods of managing their business. The method had many challenges and drawbacks. To minimize these challenges, there was a need to develop a new method of management. Management is critical in any kind of business and hence poor management leads to the collapse of the business. One there is good management in place, the resources are well utilized and profit is maximised.
The need to strengthen the analysis of the work being assigned: The work assigned to an individual is dependent on the level of the skills and expertise. However, it also depends on the complexity of the skills available. An Assessment was conducted to reveal the nature of the tasks the complexities among others. During analysis of the works, the resources are well allocated to minimise wastage. It also reduced on duplication of various duties.
The need to reduce the workload: The workload was so high because of the traditional methods that were used. Before the new method was introduced, tasks were accomplished at a lower rate hence resulting in the increase of the workload. For this reason, a new system that could simplify the work done was initiated to solve the problem that was experienced by the older method.

There was a need to manage a large number of projects in a more quickly and in an efficient manner. The Project management office made this possible through the introduction of new concepts such as progressive reporting among others. There were more benefits that were realised through this initiative. There was quick and timely delivery of projects. Close to 80% of the project was delivered as scheduled.
Improvement in the confidence of the organisation: The confidence increased in the quality of the projects that were delivered. It led to an increase in the booking of the businesses and hence leading to its expansion. The initiative led to increase in the business premiums within a short period of close to two months. The increase in the premiums led to the growth of the business.
Generally, the implementation of PMO office in Merchant Insurance transformed many activities than before. The company realised changes in all dimensions. For this reason, the customer’s confidence increased and later profit increased. The change in the management process from older methods to the new method was the best approach. Thus there was the development of products and information technology that forms a critical part in any business.
