Worksheet for S.M.A.R.T. Goals
INITIAL GOAL
I hope to provide enough information about childhood obesity. The information provided below includes information on strong nutritional standards as well as the need to exercise in order to maintain a healthy weight.
S sSPECIFIC
The majority of childhood obesity is caused by an excess of caloric intake with little or no caloric expenditure. Parents/guardians must provide healthy diets for their children and engage them in activities that help them burn excess fat. Both should be started as soon as possible to reduce the chances of a child developing health problems later in life. The only way to prevent and treat childhood obesity is to provide balanced diets and engage children in physical activities.
M sMEASURABLE
Increased appetite, increased movement, increased lean body mass, improvement in energy intake control, and metabolic and psychological profiles are all signs of progress in children.
A sACHIEVABLE
When pursuing such objectives, no skills are required. Cooking healthy meals for children, assigning simple tasks to them, and involving them in physical activities such as football require no special skills. The goal here is to return your child to good health. Parents/guardians can work with school administration to reduce foods that may increase the risk of causing early childhood obesity and to establish a routine that serves healthy foods.
R sRELEVANT
I work in a clinic where many obese children are brought in due to obesity-related health problems. Children should be served healthy diets and engaged in physical activities, according to research and evidence-based data. Obesity control and treatment drugs are discouraged due to dangerous side effects.
T sTIME-BOUND
Results may vary depending on the child’s age and whether they have other health conditions, but improvement should be noticeable in two to three months.
SMART OBJECTIVE
I’d like to encourage all parents/guardians to make their children’s childhoods safe and healthy by switching to healthier foods and increasing physical activity.
