QDAip3 Solution Development
In this week’s Key Assignment, several new variables need to be factored into the data model, as follows:

Management has identified a new transportation company that will decrease costs by 17%.
Marketing has identified an error in their initial estimate that would increase the overall cost of advertising by $100,000 per year.
The development team has had to lay off 7% of its staff, adding an additional 1,300 hours to the project.

QDAip3 Solution Development
The models that are utilized in the process of solution development include the bounded rationality model, respective decision model, and the linear programming model. The bounded rationality model is more effective in this approach because it is aimed at making the decision for attaining the goal.
The variable that the management has identified a new transportation company that will decrease the cost by 17% can be factored by focusing on the goals of the organization. The organization has a goal of making profits and the process will be used in the model to increase positive results (Genewein et al., 2015). The variable will be linked to other variables in the data model that ensures the organization benefit from the changes such as creating investments that will generate more resources for other processes. The variable whereby the marketing has identified an error in their initial estimate that would increase the cost of $100,000 per year can be factored in by reducing other operational expenses in the model. The reduction of other daily expenses will help in directing more funds to the advertising while maintaining the normal running of the project. The variable that the development team has laid off 7% of its staff and adding an additional of 1300 on the project can be factored in the model through the introduction of rewards and gifts that will help in motivating the workers to perform their duties effectively.
In conclusion, the use of models has gained the importance of application in several ways. The models are utilized by an organization to meet the specific needs. The employees should be familiar with the models applied in the organization. The variables can be integrated into the model by the process of variation of other variables, for instance reducing the cost of other operations.
