The Second Impeachment of Donald Trump
*What are the various “sides” to the issue, and who are the players associated with each side? For example, what interest groups, political parties, public opinion polls, or individuals have emerged related to your topic
The united states congress voted to impeach Donald triumph due to the violence, and assault that took place at capitol Hill. Many people have backed up and supported the impeachment, known as the key players. The key players are from various “sides” , the democrats, republicans, and Donald Trump defense team, and those who voted in for the impeachment. The key players are however divided into, potential witnesses, prosecutions, the jury, and the overseers. The overseers include players, such as John Roberts, who is the supreme court justice, whose central role is to keep Donald’s triumph trial on schedule (Jacobson, Gary page 762-795). The juries key players include most republicans, such as Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer, a democrat. On the other hand, the candidates are key payers, especially those running for the presidential position, for instance, Bernie, Sanders, Army Klobuchar, and Senator Elizabeth Warren.
Apart from the democratic candidates, seven house managers of the prosecution support the former president’s impeachment, for instance, Hakeem Jeffries, Val Demmigs, Jason Crow, Zoe Lofgren Sylvia Garcia, Jerrod Nadler, and Adam Schiff. Despite the supporter of triumph impeachment, Trump is purported by many of the defense team, loyal to him for the longest time. The defense team consists of high-profile lawyers, such as Mike Purpura, Ken Starr, Robert Ray, Jane Raskin, Pat Philbin, Pat Cipollone, Jay Sekulow, Eric Herschmann, and Pam Bondi (Jacobson, Gary page 762-795). Other player includes Joe Biden, Hunter Biden’s, Nancy Pelosi, Fiona Hill, and Rudy Giuliani. During the house of impeachment. Donald Trump’s role in January six has left some citizens and political participants furious, both the democrats and republicans, for going against the public interest, the constitutional of America
Madeleine Dean, Jamie Raskin, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, David Schoen. Bruce Castor, Liz Cheney, Patrick Leahy, and Ben Sasse (Jacobson, Gary page 762-795), and others are some of the top key players . The key players represent various positions in the government; for instance, part of the political parties, represents public opinion, and others are just related to the whole impeachment story. Jamie Raskin is one of the key players and the head of the impeachment process, known as the impeachment manager representing the democrats. Mr Raskin represents the lawmakers that will play an important role when the impeachment charges are out for trial. Raskin is considered a democrat representative for six years, who was Initially a professor of constitutional law.
The greatest motivation of Mr. Raskin in seeing Donald triumph impeached is the love and values over his son Tommy Raskin who committed suicide on New Year eve. Mr. Raskin, however, drafted an impeachment letter for Donald Triumph after stating that his son would have considered the capital violence as an act against democracy (Jacobson, Gary page 762-795). Madeleine Dean is another key player, a democratic manager like Me Raskin. Madeleine, together with the other nine democrats, like Mr. Raskin, where Madeleine was the former member of the representatives’ house in 2018 as the head of women’s reproductive rights.
According to Madeleine, the impeachment is not about politics, or rather about a political party, but it’s about protecting the rights of the American citizens. Another democrat includes Nancy Pelosi, a Democratic speaker in the house of representatives (Jacobson, Gary page 762-795). Ms. Pelosi is a lady who dramatically influences the decision-making process concerning the impeachment of Donald triumph. Mrs. Possible has been in the fight since capital violence, an eighty-year-old woman with the ability to influence decision-making. According to Ms. Pelosi, Donald triumphs actions are against the public interests and should be held accountable and pay the price of being ignorant.
Apart from democracy, some of the republicans were not excited by the Capitol case and support the former president’s impeachment. For instance, Mitch Mc Connel who is a republican senate leader of the minority in America. Mc Connel played an essential role in supporting the first impeachment in 2019. Mr. Mc Connel delayed the former president’s trial because he stated that there was no critical trial that Mr. Biden’s inauguration (Jacobson, Gary page 762-795). Mr. Connel is one of the many republican that does not support unconstitutionality and has a significant role in the second impeachment of Donald Triumph. Another republican includes David Schoen, a key player in Donald’s triumph impeachment as a trial lawyer, who did not believe that the united states’ death was out of suicide. Another republican includes Liz Cheney, who has a higher profile in the political party. According to Cheney, the former president has coordinated the riot by meeting with the mob and firing the capital riots’ flame. The republican stated that Donald triumph had a hand in inciting people to conduct a riot at the unites states’ capital. Supporting Donald Triumph’s impeachment has made Ms. Cheney; lose some opportunities and face several challenges in her Wyoming congressional seat (Jacobson, Gary page 762-795). Ben Sasse is another republican who voted in for Donald’s triumph impeachment process.
What are the objectives and concerns of these actors, and what policy options are they advocating?
Triumph is the first president to be impeached twice and the third president to be impeached. The key players n the impeachment process advocate for several policies through various concerns and objectives. For instance, Mr. Raskin is a constitutional law professor interested in Donald’s triumph case, predominantly driven by the love and value of Sammy Raski towards democrats. On the other hand, the democratic candidates had no choice apart from voting in the former president’s impeachment as opposition leader. Hunter Biden as the son of Joe Biden, the new united states president, is one of the key players in Donald’s triumph impeachment (Jacobson, Gary page 762-795). Hunter Biden’s primary concern and objective are to handle the corruption case towards Joe Biden after Donald Trump accused Biden of corruption. Hunter Biden as a board member in Ukraine energy company, as an adviser, and n provision of best practices.
According to Triumph, Hunter was part of the corruption mission, which the father supported. The main objective is to make Donald Triumph come up with an incidence for the allegation. According to Hunter Biden, the allegations were false and did not use his father’s power to engage in the corrupt act of helping the Burisma investment company (Jacobson, Gary page 762-795). Some of the players, such as Rudy Giuliani, supported Hunter Biden and accused Trump of pressuring Ukraine to investigate Hunter’s corruption case. Even though the support governs hunter Biden, Giulian was not ready to be involved in Donald Trump’s impeachment, although his actions were unconstitutional.
The key players’ political position plays an essential role in voting in for the impeachment of Donald triumph, for instance, the role of Danette as a civil rights lawyer who works on defending people who are deprived of their rights, such as the citizens of the united state (Romanov, and Khalilova, page 222-233). David Cicilline, a representative of Rhodes island, is one of the key players who has helped draft an article about Donald’s triumph impeachment. Cecile being a former member of the judiciary committee’s house in the impeachment of Donald Triumph, stated that the former preside3n thoughtful be impeached and convicted in the senate (Jacobson, Gary page 762-795).
Additionally, Joaquin Castro, a member of an intelligent committee, supports the former president’s impeachment, which is driven by Triumphs immigration policies that are racial towards the people of color, the Hispanics. Castro, as a Hispanic, is a prominent critic of Donald Trump’s immigration policies in support of Julio a democratic presidential nomination (Jacobson, Gary page 762-795). According to the key players who voted in Donald triumph’s impeachment, the main concern was that the capital violence was a violation of the united states federal criminal laws, for instance, trespassing the federal property and attempting to rob federal properties. Additionally, the violence went against the law concerning possession of firearms, a mission for committing a crime.
On the other hand, Donald’s triumphs allegations were humiliating and disrespectful towards the government, significantly because the violence disrupts the important government businesses, considering that Vice -president-elect Kamala and Vice-president Mike Pence were present. Donald triumph, however, went against title eighteen and chapter one hundred and fifteen of the constitution and hence should be charged with treason, sedition, and subversive activities (Romanov, and Khalilova, page 222-233). Also, democratic vital players, the main objective is to acquire justice for the nation, especially for violation of the constitution, especially section two thousand three hundred and eighty-four of the constitution for sedition conspiracy.
The main aim of Donald Triumph’s impeachment supporters was to reclaim justice and democratic rights towards the citizens of the united state. Also, for the respect of the United States code 0f 1961 concerning policing and capitol building ground regulation (Romanov, and Khalilova, page 222-233). According to democratic vital players, not holding Donald trump accountable would undermine the united states’ democratic norms, which is considered a severe attack towards democrats, according to republicans. On the other hand, Biden supporters and political parties vote for Triumph’s impeachment to place him away from having government opportunities in the future or involved in activities that undermine the American democracy.
*Finally, how have the governmental actors (President, Congress, and courts) responded to this pressure.
Joe Biden’s a resident of the united states, does not want to be involved in Donald Trump’s impeachment case due to several reasons. For instance, the involvement of the president would affect Biden’s relationship with Mitch Mc Connell. Joe bidden in a statement said that Donald triumph was guilty of an immoral, disgraceful, and proving in the Capitol violence (Jacobson, Gary page 762-795). Together with McConnell, both blame Donald’s Triumph for engagement in the violence as a very embarrassing and unconstitutional act. Although Mc Connelly had started, Donald’s Triumph was not eligible for conviction since the former president was no longer in leadership. The president, however, provided a statement concerning how the united states needed to revive its democratic authority back concerning (Romanov, and Khalilova, page 222-233). Donald’s triumph accusation of capital violence.
According to Biden, the united states constitution and democracy should be defended at all costs, where leaders should defend the truth and defeat the lie. Biden got a better platform to speak and talk to the people of America concerning the need for democracy to heal the nation’s soul and end uncivil wars. Joe Biden’s however, stated that he was not going to watch Donald triumph impeachment because he had jobs to do (Romanov, and Khalilova, page 222-233). According to the president of the united state, the COVID-19 pandemic was the main priority, which had affected the countries economy, making children and other people go to sleep hungry. Also, after the loss of four hundred and fifty thousand people was big enough and enough not to be involved in Donald Triumphs’ second impeachment.
However, the president of the united states urged Congress to focus and conduct themselves in the journey of making the united states a better place. Donald Trump, however, was not interested or somewhat concerned with the impeachment of Donald triumph, especially with the ongoing deaths and confirmed cases of people infected wot coronavirus in America (Romanov, and Khalilova, page 222-233). The president’s main agenda and advice were concerned with healing the country and moving forward since the united states have a lot of opportunities to grad and develop the nation.
The congress members were present in Capitol Hill, where they witnessed the violence that was associated with a lot of chaos. Congress’s prominent role in the impeachment process involves counting the parties’ votes that support the impeachment process, especially the electoral college’s votes. Congress, however, has a massive task of dealing with the unconstitutional of Donald trump’s impeachment, especially after the removal of especially after president removal from office. However, the supreme court Helped in presiding over the impeach-men trial, especially the chief justice of the court. Chief Justice Roberts is one of the justices that Help in the impeachment trial of Donald Triumph (Romanov, and Khalilova, page 222-233). However, the supreme court provides the laws behind the provision of rights and legality of the former president to a legal process. According to reports, about sixty-seven senates find the former president guilty, where the republicans supporting the impeachment process are fifty-fifty. However, forty-five republicans rejected and declined the trial presented by the impeachment manager claiming that the trial was unconstitutional.
