Results
The Clifton Strengths 34 Results is a set of profiles showing themes that describes personal strengths that an individual can have. Through reading the 34 themes, I have discovered some of the themes that have enabled me to perform well professionally. Another important aspect that I have learned from the themes is the challenges that I have been experiencing in my organization. From the themes, I can identify some of the weaknesses that have created these challenges and strengthen them.
Core Values
One core value that I consider to be more important, and every person needs to uphold it, is consistency. Consistency is an essential aspect at both individual and organizational levels (Miquelon & Castonguay, 2017). It helps in creating momentum that helps in accomplishing the set goals and objectives. Another essential core value from the themes is discipline. Discipline helps individuals make the right decisions in their day-to-day activities Van Den (Meerssche, 2018). Also, discipline within a team can help leaders control the members, especially when they are absent.
Two Strengths
One strength from the themes that have played an essential role in my effectiveness has a good strategy. Strategic planning has enabled me to develop goals and alternative means of achieving these goals when faced with challenges. Also, through strategic planning, I have developed ways of maximizing the use of available resources. Another strength from the themes is the aspect of includer. Applying the element of inclusion was a practical approach through involving members in my organization in critical decision-making. This includer aspect creates a sense of belonging and that I, as a leader, accept my members.
Characteristics to Strengthen
One of the characteristics that, as a leader, I need to strengthen is the developer aspect. Developer involves strategies through which I can make my members improve in terms of performance and skills. Another characteristic that I need to strengthen personally is the aspect of adaptability. Adaptability means that I can respond to changes effectively, especially the changing technological trends (Xu, X. & Yu, 2019). Also, I will emphasize this aspect of adaptability among my members to learn to respond to changes within the organization.
