Following reading the article – ANA Issue Brief: Nursing Beyond Borders and based on your current and expanding knowledge of issues of health disparities, and health needs of immigrant and migrant workers living in the US (Week 5 readings, in particular Chapters 22 and 24), reflect on where you stand on the debate concerning health care access and provision of care for the documented and undocumented immigrants living in the US. Explain your position on this subject and provide evidence to support your position. What do you see as potential policy issues that nurses may need to explore if we are to play an advocacy role in this policy discourse and debate?
