For the essay, this week, choose two of the three questions below and answer them in essay format. You should reference your textbook to help you in answering these questions (see chapter 29). Each of your responses should be a minimum of 250 words in length, include a minimum of three key terms from the course so far, and any outside references used must be cited.

2. Explain stylistic features of Fauvism. Explain the derivation of the name: Fauves and their formation. Use specific artwork examples to support your essay. Explain what Fauvism looks like in terms of style. Explain where the name “Fauves” came from and how they came to be. Use specific works of art to back up what you say in your essay.
3. Discuss two different German Expressionist exhibition groups. Cite specific artwork examples. Describe the style and ideology of each separate exhibitionist movement.
