You will be identifying your capstone project topic and providing a brief summary of the project.
1. Provide an overview of your project topic, including your reasoning for the selection of the topic.
2. Include a brief description of the problem you have discovered and proposed ideas you may use to provide a solution.
3. Your initial post should be a minimum of 300 words
Assignment 1.2
This is Phase 1 of your final capstone project.
1. Prepare a document that lists each reference you intend to use in your project, along with an annotation of each item (in the form of an annotated bibliography).
2. The references should be in APA 7th edition format. Follow each reference with a paragraph that gives a summary of the article you are referencing.
3. You should have at least five references by this point in the development of your project.
Assignment 1.3 Progress Report
Using the CITM-504 Progress Report Template, provide your instructor with information on your progress toward completion of the capstone project. The template asks the following questions:
1. Provide a brief overview of your capstone project work.
2. What work is completed (bulleted format)?
3. Provide a brief description of work in progress.
4. What insights from your coursework have been important in developing your project?
5. In examining the challenges and complexity presented in your capstone project, what takeaways do you feel you can apply to your real-life career and professional experiences? Reflect upon what you’ve learned this workshop.
6. Using the template form (the date automatically updates), submit the report.
Assignment 1.4
This is Phase 2 of your final capstone project.
1. Refer to the Capstone Project Guide as needed.
2. Prepare an outline of your project paper. Base the outline on the Capstone Project Template. You may use the template and embed the outline into each section of the template. You need to include an outline bullet for each major and minor idea in each section (the bullets would be taken out in the final paper).
3. The assignment submission should also include all the references you intend to use in the paper. Place your references in the template under the reference section. No annotations should be included at this stage of the outline. Your references must follow APA 7th edition. A total of 10 or more references should be used in the paper.

Assignment 1.6
This is Phase 3 of your final capstone project.
1) You will submit an overview of the PowerPoint presentation that will summarize your project. Provide a one- to two-slide outline of the main points that cover the following:
• Introduction to the problem
• Steps that would provide a solution to the problem
• Conclusion statement
2) Remember the specifics for the final PowerPoint presentation:
• Create a presentation that would be appropriate for senior management to understand your project.
• Provide an overview and introduction with appropriate level of detail of the problem, potential solutions that could be applied to the problem, and the most appropriate solution based on your judgment and expertise as developed throughout your studies. The presentation needs to provide sufficient information that would allow management to make informed decisions related to approving and funding the project. The presentation is to be associated directly with the project paper you are researching and writing.
• Use a minimum presentation of 15 PowerPoint slides or a length necessary to adequately inform management.

Assignment 1.8
This is Phase 5 of your final capstone project.
1. Post your draft capstone project paper. As a draft, this is your opportunity to submit the following for feedback before submitting your final paper:
• Paper introduction
• Problem statement/discussion
• Potential and proposed solutions
• Conclusion and cited references
2. The paper should be around 20 pages in length (double-spaced), and transitions between sections should be addressed. Any graphics or tables do not count toward page count.
3. Make sure to use 7th edition APA where required. The paper should include credible references that are listed on a reference page in the report according to APA 7th edition guidelines. You may and should use research to develop your plans, but make sure to cite your sources. All written work should be your own.
