It entails the knowledge of the government, law, understanding political views and behaviors, diplomacy, wars and strategies. Studying political science is important for future professions in matters with the law, government, media and the public service. Therefore, I will try to show in this essay how my possible career or profession relates to my planned study course
Relation of my possible professional plans to my planned course of study
My planned course of study is political science and my professional plans is to be a political analyst. Being a political analyst requires an individual to be versatile with skills in writing, communication and critical thinking. These are the main skills emphasized in political science studies. The main responsibilities of a political analyst as described in political studies is the conduction of research studies on political ideologies, the collection of information from election results and public interviews, the collection of political statistical data and reporting the findings, and the Assessment of the impact of regulations and policies on nations, individuals and businesses. These responsibilities are important so as to ensure that the principles I study in class are correctly represented in my works as a political analyst.
Conclusion
Studying political science as a profession is interesting as I will be equipped with writing, communication and critical thinking skills. These skills form the baseline for my professional plans of becoming a political analyst in the future.
