Reflecting on the case study and connecting the information to your own community, what is the population you identified in your community?
Identify your community (where you live or work).
Identify 2 community health problems faced by a population within your community (describe the population and the contributing factors to the health problem).
Describe a minimum of 1 factor within your community that could negatively impact health literacy such as socioeconomic status, language barrier or culture.
Discuss the impact that health literacy has on a community’s members level of competence in accessing, understanding, appraising and applying health information in order to make sound health decisions.
