You continue your application of theories to couple and family counseling by examining the systemic-emotional aspects of relationships, the patterns of interaction between couples and families, and the meaning associated with those interactions.

As you develop treatment plans based on this week’s theories, ask yourself how you recognize emotion in the relational dynamics of the couple or family.
