Case Study: Programmatic Analyst
As a next step in the interview process, we are asking qualified candidates to complete a case
study. The purpose for this case study is to get a high-level understanding of how you think
about approaching data and drawing insights from it. You can use any format you would like
to formulate your response (word, PowerPoint). Do not limit your deliverable based on
existing Everyday Health Group knowledge or in-depth understanding of our websites anything is fair game!
If you have any questions or problems completing this case, please reach out so we can figure
out a solution together.

Baby Info Inc. monetizes two sites with advertisements: Baby Digest Weekly and Baby
Names Catalog. In order to fulfil delivery quotas to their advertising partners, ads must be
delivered to both sites with consistency so that users are viewing the ads on a regular basis
and spend is relatively evenly distributed throughout the advertising campaign.
You have received an email from your client, who has informed you that there seems to be a
sudden lack of advertising delivery with the Q2 campaign. As a data-driven analyst, you have
pulled data for the two websites their ads appear on to try to validate the client’s claim, and
gain context around this occurrence. What does this data tell you about ad delivery?
Some questions to help guide your analysis:
 What types of visualizations would you use to gather trends in this data?
 What cuts of data would you look at to gain additional context in the data?
 What additional data would you potentially want to gather and analyze to further
understand the issue?
