CLIMATE CHANGE DEMYSTIFIED
Since 97% of the experts accept and trust the evidence about Global Warming and it’s causes, it may not be fair, or representative to present the opinion of the other 3% as it was a 50% of the debate. To be fair we shouldn’t have a one to one debate about it, but a 97 to 3 debate.
In the following comedy video, John Oliver explains the 97% consensus on human-caused global warming and the fallacy of media giving deniers equal weight with mainstream scientists.

CLIMATE CHANGE DEMYSTIFIED
Can mother nature act against itself? The shocking discovery is that it can. A lot of research on them has been done on the dangers of volcanic activities to man but not on the environment. There is still uncertainty on whether natural disasters are triggered by climate change or they are within the purview of mother nature (Phillips et al., 2015). What has been proved, however, is that volcanic eruption emits sulfur dioxide gas which is spread globally and can last for a few years. The sulfur oxidizes into sulfates which reduces energy inflow resulting in a decrease in temperature. This should answer the “doubting Thomases” that argue there is no climate change since we still experience snow.
Another exciting discovery is that through Carbon pricing, countries that emit excessive carbon can but their way out of pollution. According to the World Bank, carbon pricing indicates whether countries should ‘continue polluting and pay for it. If a country generates more income than they spend on carbon payments, why halt industrialization when they can just pay? This is a shocking discovery that to say the least, is not aimed at combating carbon emissions.
Measurement has been identified as a root cause of global warming. It is interesting to note that climate change can actually cause communal conflicts. With flooding, drought, and other natural disasters, some communities are forced to leave for new areas. With the rise of sea levels, the Maldives and even New York City may soon be submerged. The inhabitants will have to relocate to, more often than not, an already occupied area. This is bound to cause human conflicts in the end.
