Computer Games
Computer games are vital for every child’s growth where computers where the games keep advancing with the new technologies. Computer games have educational and psychological benefits to gamers, for instance, equip the individual with attention skills, understanding of science, learning different languages and mathematics.
While growing up, the best game that will forever stick in my memory includes the roller coaster tycoon where every child’s dream was to visit the amusement park and have to experience the roller coaster feeling (Singh,et, al.,2017). Roller coaster tycoon was a windows game in the 90s which enabled children to create an amusement park, generate ship lines, railroads, monitor the roller coaster ride at the same time maintain a profit margin.
Today my most favorite game is the disco Elysium which is more into investigations and adventure sililar to the roller coaster tycoon. The disco Elysium involves following an intoxicated cop investigating a murder case in the city. The game is more advanced and fun compared to the roller coaster tycoon which did not have the skills checks (Fernandes, 2017). The game is fascinating and educative at the same time enhancing greater attention to the player similar to the roller coaster. The most interesting part about the disco Elysium the fact that the game does not use the analog turn-based fights as well as the game is accompanied by dialogue which makes it more interesting and addictive compared to roller coaster tycoon.
The favourite board game I played was that 7 wonders which consisted of many players taking turns. The 7 wonders advanced in 2010 to a game consisting of only two players. common factor between the 7wonders and the disco Elysium is that both games are computer games and are popular. For instance, the 7 wonders have inspired more games such as the sushi Go while disco Elysium is among the best and highly rated games that were awarded ninety-two percent reviews (Singh,et, al.,2017). Both games use are developed in a fun and through effusive style creating new ideas and giving the player a chance to explore more ideas. Lastly, both games give the player a chance to control everything and think critically.
