1) Think about a celebrity (living or dead) who when actively using alcohol or other drugs was (or is) in the media. Discuss their relationship to these substances from a Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs perspective. Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs can be used to talk about how they feel about these substances. 2) Do you think the role drugs play in our recreational society is due to a lack of moral grounding?
