ASSESSMENT ITEM 4:
LITERATURE REVIEW AND PRESENTATION
MOTIVATION
The goal of this assessment item is that students learn how to read scientific articles and how the
theory in the course can be applied to specific problems.
TASKS
The assessment item consists of a 10-minute oral presentation, and 3-min question time. The idea is
that the students
• read the journal paper (which can be downloaded using the link provided);
• extract the main control ideas;
• explain and present the control techniques in the paper;
• answer and response to questions in a clear manner.
WHEN
The presentation will be scheduled on Week 13, Friday (9/11/18). The time and venue will be
announced on the Monday of Week 13.
