Evaluating Report Formats
For this assignment, you will evaluate the applicability of various data reporting formats, given a set of three proposed scenarios. Use the three hypothetical scenarios provided for your assignment, which are provided below:
-You are asked by the chief analytics officer at your company to write a paper on the role of analytics in social media marketing. The paper will be featured on your company’s website and shared with potential customers to showcase your company’s expertise on the topic.
-You are asked by your customer to provide a brief point of view on the state of their business based on an analysis of their last quarter’s performance. -Your company’s chief analytics officer requests that you write a paper on the role of analytics in social media marketing. The paper will be posted on your company’s website and distributed to potential customers to demonstrate your company’s expertise on the subject.
-Your customer requests that you provide a brief assessment of the state of their business based on an examination of their previous quarter’s performance.
-You are assigned to a research project where you need to assess your current predictive algorithm’s performance and benchmark it against two new algorithms that are more interpretable. You need to provide a recommendation for which algorithm your team should use moving forward with clear supporting details that emerged from the results.
For the three scenarios depicted above, you should consider the applicability of the following data reports and evaluate their appropriateness:
Posters
Executive memo
Summary report
White paper
Technical Paper
Ad hoc analysis or notes
Jupyter Notebook or R Markdown report
In your Assessment, be sure to consider the purpose of the report, the audience, and the context. Format your assignment so that each scenario is a second-level APA heading. In your response, provide a recommendation for which report is most relevant, and offer supporting narratives to justify your selected reporting format. You should have at least one page of content per scenario.
Be sure to address the following:
Evaluate the appropriateness of seven different data reports for each of the three scenarios.
Provide one page minimum of supporting narrative content for each scenario.
Length: 3 to the 5-page technical paper, not including title and references pages
References: Include a minimum of 3 scholarly references.
