Internet Revolution impacts in retailing on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMES) in Nigeria.
Research questions:

Research Aim:
The aim objective of the proposed project is to investigate the use of internet and how it is accessed globally. The aim is not only to evaluate internet usage and the reason why retailers in Nigeria use it as a selling platform but also to analyze the impact it has on
retailing in Nigeria.
Research objectives:
-To access the extent to which the internet is used in Africa.
-To examine the extent to which retailers in Nigeria use the internet as a selling platform.
-To determine the reasons why retailers do and don’t use the internet to sell.
-To recommend the strategies Nigeria retailers need to adopt in order to eradicate cyber crimes and to develop the way forward in promoting internet usage.
Justification of the Study:
This research is to be investigated so has to see how the internet revolution might evolve and affect the high street over the next decade in Nigeria and how the problems hindering the Nigeria’s SME’s participation in electronic economy can be eradicated and finally pointing out the way forward and also to explore the extent of internet revolution adoption in Africa, Nigeria and Globally. This study is thus planned to recognize all the struggle, difficulties, and constraints militating in opposition to the achievement of SMEs and also to
make correct recommendations for putting together these claims and removing them so that the SMEs could reside in their satisfied place in the Nigerian economy and also to play the vital task that they are accepted to participate in the economic growth and development of Nigeria.
Limitations of the Study:
The proposed study is limited to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Nigeria and other retail sectors in the economy on how they make use of internet facilities system and how they have used this revolution in promoting their financial transactions (Adesina, et al 2010). Examples of those businesses are Jumia Ltd and Konga ltd. Jumia Nigeria is one-stop online retail shops in Nigeria making available a wide variety of goods including Mobile Phones, men and women’s wears and many more and they offer the service of bringing customers goods at their various door steps.
Konga Nigeria on the other hand, is also one of the today’s Nigerian one-stop online retail shops presenting extensive variety of goods like Jumia, who also bring their customers goods for them at where they reside. They also both use different online services that can be used at customer’s convenience (Chukwu et al , 2014).
