Your final action plan includes the two parts below:
Part One (2-3 pages): Identify a leader in the field that you hope to work in and that you would like to conduct an informational interview with to learn more about leading in inclusive cultures.
Review the Harvard Business Review article from this module’s reading material
(How to Get the Most Out of an Informational Interview) providing advice for conducting informational interviews. Identify at least six questions you would like to ask this person.

After completing the interview, write a short paper addressing the following:
• Summarize the interview, including the background of the leader.
• What were your key takeaways? Did anything surprise you?
• How has this interview helped you reflect on your own personal journey to becoming an inclusive leader?

Part Two (4-5 pages): You will synthesize all your emotional intelligence, ethics, and leadership inputs.
Your action plan will include three main components and should address the following:
• Emotional Intelligence
o Reflect on your EQi 2.0 report insights and key takeaways. Choose one EQ subscale to develop, why did you chose this subscale, and how have you determined to further develop that subscale.
o In what ways can you use EQ to understand different perspectives and further inform ways to build inclusive cultures?
o How can you leverage emotional intelligence with your field of study?
o How do you plan to continue to develop your Emotional Intelligence and leverage your strongest EQ subscales?
• Reflection Papers
o Go back and review all of your reflection papers. Summarize what you have learned about yourself throughout this course.
• Areas of Development
o Clearly identify and discuss at least three areas for development that will enable you to become a more inclusive leader. You should address at least an initial step to change in each of the three areas.
Papers should be a total of 6-8 pages in length, written in APA format, and should use a minimum of 4 references, two references should include materials outside of class to support your work.

Please remember this assignment is 15% of your final grade and is your chance to shine related to what you learned in this course and where you go from here.

Your final paper is due by Saturday of Module 6, 11:59 PM CT.

Logical Structure, Grammar, and Style (10%) 5 points
– Writing is clear, concise, convincing, logical, and easy to read and understand. Student explains unfamiliar concepts, expressions, and abbreviations.

– Writing is structured to correspond to the assignment directions. For essay-based assignments, writing incorporates an introduction, main body, and conclusion.

– Paragraphs, bullets, and lists are used to communicate ideas and thoughts.

– Student uses standard English grammar, without grammatical or typographical errors.

– The assignment is formatted in the most current APA edition format. This requirement, per assignment directions, may include cover page, abstract, references, and other components.

– The assignment uses the minimum number of references specified by the instructor in the assignment directions, if applicable. The references are appropriately indicated through the use of quotation marks and indication of paraphrasing, cited in-line and at the end of the assignment, and their use is consistent with the writing.
