should be listed separately and should include a nutrition section and a fitness section.
• The nutrition section should include your daily intake for beverages, food, condi ments, toppings, snacks, and supplements/vitamins. Each meal type should be
listed together so that you are able to see all the breakfasts etc. at one time. Each

location of the meal, and how you felt after eating it. Again, remember to include
beverages.

• The nutrition summary/critique should be in paragraph form and start with an
overall summary. Then include 3 strengths that exist regarding nutrition choices
and 3 long term goals that can be made regarding improving your nutrition.
You will also include 3 small changes you can make starting now. Develop each
idea thoroughly. To Help you in this critique, you must reference MyPlate (cite)
and chapter 11 of the textbook (cite). Provide a detailed comparison of MyPlate
to the meals in your log. Specifying how much of the 5 specific food groups you
should get per day compared to what you are actually eating.
• For example, I am a 45-year-old woman who gets 60 minutes of exercise per
day therefore I should consume 55 grams of protein each day. In my log I no ticed that I am only averaging 40 grams each day therefore I should increase my

your text (cite). Use course vocabulary words. Develop this section carefully
and demonstrate critical thinking. Answer at least one of these questions in your
self-Assessment:
• What is your caloric intake per day compared to what should it be?
What suggestions do you have to align the two?
• Which nutrients are you lacking in your day and what ideas do you
have to recoup the loss of specific nutrients?
• How much cardio do you get in a day? What should you get? What spe cific suggestions do you have to reach your recommended amount?
• How can you apply the information learned in this project to your pro fession as an educator?
3. Checklist for Success-
