INGEPP, which was awarded in February 1998 a sub-order, has been quite satisfied until early July 1999 with the way the project has been going on: – This was the first industrial construction of its latest up-to-date technology for producing hydrogen and such would serve as an excellent marketing reference. – The forecast initial project margin was excellent.
Six weeks later, mid -August 1999, such a project turned into nightmare for 1NGEPP, pushing INGEPP shareholders to consider filing bankruptcy.
Case main topic is to analyze and find out why INGEPP fell into such dramatic situation, to suggest sources of improvement and to recommend actions to be carried out to save the Company.
