In order to further up its efforts to combat piracy in the Gulf of Eden, China plans to make more purchases of new maritime supplies.

The ports of Europe are governed by a legislative framework that has been around for a long time and is well established. The European Maritime Safety Agency is an organization that has been tasked with the responsibility of reducing the amount of pollution caused by ships in the ports of the European Union as well as reducing the number of accidents that occur. In 2017, a total of 415 million were shipped through the ports of Europe. The ports of the Netherlands moved the greatest quantity of goods compared to any other country in Europe. Every port in Europe is protected by a fleet that watches over the surrounding waters.
