• A list will be provided in class. Call ahead for most of the centers, if the center is open to the general public, just drop in, collect brochures to show the class (just a few of each)
• If you select an agency that offers tours, explain the following when you schedule your tour: You are a nursing student studying mental health and would like to learn more about community-based resources available to patients and their families.
• Presentations: will be scheduled by instructor
• Plan to report on this resource to the class:
• Each group will prepare a 15-minute in-class or virtual presentation. Creativity and multi-modal presentation methods are encouraged. Each team must submit materials used for presentation (ppt if used, handouts, etc.)
