Modelling mission maneuver and orbit maintenance DV
Design an Excel spreadsheet which calculates the required DV to switch your satellite tv for pc from one orbit to a different. The calculation should work for any mixture of elliptical orbits. On a second spreadsheet, calculate the required DV to take care of a round orbit for a given time period. The inputs to the calculation are the main points of the orbit, the mission period and related spacecraft knowledge (cross-sectional space and many others) and the output is the deceleration and pace misplaced through the mission timeframe on account of aerodynamic drag and photo voltaic strain. An instance structure in Excel is offered. Cells in orange signify consumer inputs and cells in gray signify calculated outputhnss; daring cells signify last outcomes.
