Research Proposal Paper
The student will develop a research paper that compares the historical concepts of crime and punishment to modern correctional institutes for private prisons and federal prisons.
Week 1: Selecting a Topic (20%)
Provide a historical perspective of crime and punishment focusing on the punishment. Select two corrections locations one federal prison and one private prison in which to compare historical concepts to contemporary concepts on crime and punishment.
Note: This will require a cover page and overview of what you will be discussing in your research following the cover page. ensure that you are following APA guidelines. This assignment will be filter through turnitin.com to check for plagiarism. If your percentage score is higher than 15% (which would make up most of your references) it will not be accepted. You will be allowed two submission attempts. If you receive notification from me that your turnitin score is to high you have to use that second attempt to correct the issue and get your score at 15% or below.
