American Literature
Topic researched literature on either the whale rider, the storyteller or Puerto Rico strong
In this course you are expected to write two researched literary analysis papers. You may choose which form of paper you want to write (interdisciplinary, comparative, define & demonstrate, close reading, etc.) and which text(s) you want to write about However, you may not write about any particular text in more than one paper.

These papers should be 5-7 pages (1500-2000 words) and include 5-7 sources (including primary & secondary).

At the end of the semester, you may rewrite one of these two papers for an improved grade, but only if that paper was submitted at least two weeks before the big deadline.
