Write covering all above aspect. Analyse how target 13.1 accounts for human dignity and the common good in the context of a specific global community?

Hints: Structure idea: 6 paragraphs, with clear focuses – e.g.,
a. 200 words introducing your response to the question. you might ask, e.g., What’s my course? What SDG target am I focusing on? In what ways is my course equipping me to work toward the SDG target you’ve selected? How well is my course doing this? Could my course be doing something differently? What is my course missing?

b. 200 words contextualising the SDG target you’ve chosen a. you might ask, e.g., What’s the SDG? What are the other targets? Why does this particular target matter to me?

c. 300 words contextualising your course of study a. identify your course, and start to allude themes and aspects of communities, human dignity, and the common good.
Hints: when you write this part, give examples; choose any 1st country (eg. Africa): Give climate change related example. Choose any 2nd country (eg. Bosnia) and give climate change related example. These 2 countries should have different climate change scenario/issues, so that you can compare, contrast, analyse and give your response.

d. 200 words analysing how the target accounts for human dignity in the context of a specific global community (“International council of Nurses (ICN)”.

e. 200 words analysing how the target accounts for the common good in the context of a specific global community (“International council of Nurses (ICN)”.

f. 200 words connect the dots between the previous paragraphs, so that you can draw some conclusions, and suggest some implications.

Title: Strengthening Resilience and Adaptive Capacity to Climate-related Disasters in the International Council of Nurses (ICN)

Introduction
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 targets that aim to achieve a sustainable future for all. This article will analyze target 13.1 of the SDGs, which is to strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related disasters. The focus will be on the specific global community, the International Council of Nurses (ICN), and how this target accounts for human dignity and the common good in this context. As a Bachelor of Nursing student, this analysis will also explore how my course of study is preparing me to work towards achieving this target.

Contextualizing Target 13.1
Target 13.1 aims to strengthen the resilience and adaptive capacity of communities to climate-related disasters. It recognizes the impact of climate change on communities and their ability to withstand the effects of natural disasters. This target is essential as climate change continues to have devastating effects on vulnerable communities, including those with limited resources and poor infrastructure. The goal is to build the resilience of communities, so they can prepare, respond and recover from climate-related disasters.

Contextualizing Bachelor of Nursing Course of Study
The Bachelor of Nursing course of study equips students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to care for individuals, families, and communities. The course teaches students the importance of promoting health and preventing illness through community-based approaches. Climate change has far-reaching effects on the health of individuals and communities. The impact of climate change on health is multidimensional, ranging from mental health to communicable diseases. For example, in Africa, climate change has led to an increase in malaria cases due to increased rainfall and flooding. In Bosnia, extreme heatwaves have caused heat stress and an increase in hospital admissions.

Analyzing Target 13.1: Human Dignity
Target 13.1 recognizes the importance of human dignity by prioritizing the resilience and adaptive capacity of communities. The goal is to empower communities to prepare for and recover from climate-related disasters. The ICN plays a vital role in promoting human dignity by advocating for the health and well-being of individuals and communities. The ICN provides education and training to nurses to ensure they can respond to the health needs of individuals and communities affected by climate-related disasters. Through this approach, the ICN ensures that individuals and communities affected by climate-related disasters receive the care and support they need to maintain their dignity.

Analyzing Target 13.1: Common Good
The common good is central to achieving target 13.1 as it aims to build resilience and adaptive capacity of communities to climate-related disasters. The ICN promotes the common good by advocating for the health and well-being of individuals and communities affected by climate change. The ICN works with governments and other organizations to ensure that health systems are prepared to respond to climate-related disasters. The ICN also promotes community-based approaches to health care, ensuring that individuals and communities have access to the resources and support they need to prepare for and recover from climate-related disasters. This approach ensures that vulnerable communities have access to essential health services, promoting the common good.

Connecting the Dots
In conclusion, achieving target 13.1 of the SDGs is essential to building resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related disasters. The ICN plays a critical role in promoting human dignity and the common good by advocating for the health and well-being of individuals and communities affected by climate change. As a Bachelor of Nursing student, my course of study is preparing me to work towards achieving this target by promoting community-based approaches to health care and teaching me the importance of advocating for the health needs of vulnerable communities. To achieve this target, it is essential to build resilient health systems that can respond to the health needs
