Week 8 Final Presentation
Drawing on what you have learned in the course, develop a presentation (PowerPoint) which outlines and describes a performance measurement system specific to the hypothetical organization you envisioned in the week 1 assignment. Please indicate exactly what you intend to measure and how you will measure it. Also, think about the following with your system of measurement: (a) It should be made to produce performance outcome results, (b) it should include and show the relationships between the mission, vision, and values that drive culture and are kept up by governance, and (c) it should ideally include some measure(s) of clinical performance. Also, consider the following in regard to your measurement system: (a) It should be designed to produce performance outcome results, (b) It should incorporate and illustrate the relationships between the mission, vision, and values that drive culture and are maintained by governance, and (c) It should ideally incorporate some measure(s) of clinical performance.

“The final presentation is just a cumulation of everything we’ve gone through in class- You’re going to use your organization and decide something to measure for quality- could be infection rates, falls, readmissions, claims etc.; Once you decide what to measure, describe how you’re going to measure it and then “report” on it. Just be creative and take into account what and how you’re measuring- make sure it’s something that can be measured.”
